LCV Action Fund Endorses Emily Randall for U.S. House of Representatives

Washington D.C. – Today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund, which works to elect pro-environment candidates, announced the endorsement of State Senator Emily Randall for election to the U.S. House of Representatives representing Washington’s 6th Congressional District.

“State Senator Emily Randall has fought tirelessly to protect communities, clean air and water, promote stronger resiliency against extreme weather, and help put Washington on the path towards a clean energy future throughout her time in Washington’s State Senate,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President for Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. “LCV Action Fund is proud to announce our endorsement for Emily Randall for Congress where she will continue to fight for our climate and environmental justice for future generations.”

“Washington’s 6th Congressional District has some of the greatest natural beauty in the United States – from Olympic National Park to South Puget Sound, our communities show the existential importance of combating climate change, protecting public lands, and fighting for environmental justice,” said State Senate Deputy Majority Leader Emily Randall. “I’ve been proud to fight for a cleaner future in the State Senate, and now I’m honored to be the only candidate in this race endorsed by the national League of Conservation Voters Action Fund. I am also honored to build upon the legacy left by Congressman Derek Kilmer and make sure the 6th District continues to be a stronghold for environmental protection and clean energy.”
